ontop of it its being written by Dolvstky (or however u spell it) guy behind 'Too Many Pinkies', 'Over a Barrel' and worst of the worst, 'Spike at your Service.' I am not sure if u rate these highly, but I find it very worrisome that these are all chiefly over the top 'humor' episodes, and for all their moments of isolated clever injokes or dialogue, their plots rarely make sense and seem forcibly resolved. THey are gonna reform Discord, I can just tell. Because in a kid's show, you don't simply get the message 'there are some bad people out there who are just unchangeable, and you have to accept their negative attitudes exist as a fact.' It's the harsh truth, but that's too cynical of a message for young children. I predict they'll turn him into some whimsical April Fool's Day prankster, which simply nauseates me. What annoys me further are especially two things: 1, Fluttershy while I know how kind she is, would NEVER want to convert Discord to the side of Good, on her own anyway, because she's a huge coward and she was in my opinion the WORST of the whole mane 6 affected and hurt the most when realizing the bad things she did after awakening. She even flipped out the angriest when she was told that if they didn't capture Rainbow Dash, Discord wins:..."that big...dumb...MEANY!!!!!"

And 2nd, I know its been said before dozens of times, but in all seriousness, WHY is Celestia even still their queen? Why is she putting this duty upon Twilight Sparkle and her friends? it made sense when the Elements of Harmony had to be wielded, as she stated specifically they no longer resonate with her (I assume due to the problematic fight with Nightmare Moon and she seems to possess dark power of her own now, so they're incompatible.) and so the 6 needed to be utilized. But surely Celestia herself, knowing Discord even more than they do, would be a more capable person to speak directly to him? Perhaps she feels Discord still is bitter against her turning him to stone, so he would not listen to her, but the main 6 have already done the same! What reason he has to better listen to them?! I consider this just really poor writing, and out of character, like with Spike in 'Spike at Your Service. I really don't wanna be judgemental of an episode that hasnt even started to be seen yet. But it seems like the writers are more worried now about fan pandering and being goofy and clever than creating as many good continuity and character development episodes. I really only hope I am just being paranoid about this. I respect John Delancie for even making a comeback at all, and I have heard him say Fluttershy is his favorite pony character. I think their pairing would be somewhat cute, but I don't feel comfortable with it being canon, or turning him into an anti-villain softie. The only reason i would want him to turn good, is because an even BIGGER force to be reckoned with, possibly Sombra, Chrysalis, or worse, is threatening their nation.

If Discord kills them all, how is the next episode about Spike and the two episodes at the end of the season rumored to be about Twilight?
